Cultivó desde adolescente la poesía popular, sobre los modelos de Dante A. Linyera, Celedonio Flores y Carlos de la Púa. Él vivía cuando comenzaba la noche.

He cultivated since a teenager urban poetry on the model of Dante A. Linyera, Celedonio Flores and Carlos the Spike. He lived with the night.

Tuvo gran capacidad para producir sus obras, que en muchos casos reflejaban sus vivencias como un activo hombre de la noche. Según cuentan sus amigos se distinguía por su personalidad simpática y afable, luciendo siempre una sonrisa en sus noches de cabaret y de dados.

He had great ability to produce its works, which often reflected his experiences as an active man of the night. As told by friends he was known for his easy going and affable personality, always wearing a smile on his nights of cabaret and dices.

Entre sus amigos se destacaban, aparte de Juan D'Arienzo y Héctor Varela, el bandoneonista Alberto San Miguel, el letrista Antonio Arcieri, el poeta Julián Centeya y el ex campeón de boxeo Oscar Sostaita.
