Y al darnos cuenta que la otra persona nunca iba a ser para nosotros, tuvimos la entereza de no dar cabida al rencor y seguir adelante aunque el dolor nos perfore profundamente el alma…  Otra vez el tango nos dió su punto de vista...

Adiós Corazón fue grabado en Nov 29 1957 por la Orquesta de Fulvio Salamanca con Armando Guerrico en la voz y tiene una historia sumamente interesante. Esta fue la canción que se convirtió en el "sonido” característico de Fulvio Salamanca .

Adiós, Corazón recorded on Nov 29 1957 by Fulvio Salamanca Orchestra with Armando Guerrico on vocals has an interesting story behind it. This was the song that became the “sound” of Fulvio Salamanca.

Fulvio había sido el fiel pianista de D' Arienzo desde 1940 hasta 1957 cuando se decidió crear su propia orquesta con el bandoneonista Eduardo Corti . Tuvieron su debut en Radio Splendid tal era el respeto que el medio artístico tenía por ellos . La Orquesta sigue buscando su "sonido” característico cuidando de no sonar como D'Arienzo, que es lo que todo el mundo quería  escuchar y ellos lo sabían.  Pasaron largas horas tratando de trabajar en un sonido único .

Fulvio had faithfully been D'Arienzo’s piano player from 1940  to 1957 when he decided to set up his own orquesta with bandoneonist Eduardo Corti. They had their debut on Radio Splendid such was the respect they were held in. The orquesta were still searching for their signature sound cautious not to sound like D’Arienzo which is what everyone would be listening for and they knew it. They spent long hours trying to work on a unique sound.

Fue en una cena durante este tiempo, donde Armando Guerrico estaba cantando casualmente la canción "Adiós, Corazón". Fulvio lo oyó cantar e inmediatamente se puso a tratar de encontrar a los autores los cuales no estaban registrados ni en SADAIC ni  en Uruguay. Por suerte Fulvio tenía un montón de amigos allí y después de varias llamadas telefónicas a Montevideo se los rastreó y el acuerdo fue alcanzado.

It was at a dinner party during this time, where Armando Guerrico happened to be singing casually this song “Adiós, Corazón”. Fulvio heard him sing and the song and immediately set about trying to find the authors who were unregistered on SADAIC (Argentina) and in Uruguay. Luckily Fulvio had a lot of friends there and after several phone calls to Montevideo they were tracked down and agreement reached. 

Fulvio hizo el arreglo de la canción y el añadido los violines en el inicio de la partitura y de repente tuvo el nuevo sonido de la formación. También obtuvo su cantante emblemático, Armando Guerrico, y junto con "Mano Cruel" y "Adiós, Corazón" fueron los dos lados del primer disco de Armando Guerrico con Fulvio Salamanca, en los estudios de grabación Odeon.

Fulvio did the arranging on the song and added the violins at the start to the score and suddenly had the new signature sound. He also had his key singer Armando Guerrico and along with “Mano Cruel” and “Adios Corazon” were the first two sides of the  Armando Guerrico cut with Fulvio Salamanca in the Odeon recording studio.

También por todo el primer año de esta orquesta el violinista no fue otro que el legendario Elvino Vardaro que había sido persuadido a integrarse a la misma por Conti ,

Also for the first year of this orchestra the violinist was none other than the legendary Elvino Vardaro who had been persuaded to join by Conti.

Castellano: Adiós corazón... te decían los muchachos. Adiós corazón... aquel día dije yo. Y comenzaste a reir porque la frase te agradó y por las calles te seguí diciendo así, con emoción: Adiós corazón... si usted quiere conversamos; soñé con su amor... quiero ver qué hay de verdad. Y mi presencia te turbó: quedaste casi sin hablar cuando dijiste con tu adiós: ¡Hasta mañana, corazón! Adiós corazón... de tu mano hoy va otra mano. English: Goodbye, sweetheart... All the boys had told you. Goodbye Sweetheart... I said that day. And you started to smile because you liked the phrase and then I followed through streets So saying like that, with emotion : Goodbye, Sweetheart... if you want we can talk; I dreamed with your love ... I want to see what is truth. And my presence troubled : You stood  almost without speaking when you said your goodbye: Until tomorrow, sweetheart...
