La Orquesta Típica Victor fue creada por la grabadora Victor exclusivamente para competir en el creciente mercado del tango y vender sus discos. La historia comienza en 1925 y termina en 1944 cuando la orquesta se desarma.
The Orquesta Típica Victor was the house band of the Victor record label to compete in the flourishing tango market and exclusively to sell its records. The story of the Típica Victor begins in 1925 and finish in 1944 when the orchestra is disbanded.
Durante esos años la orquesta graba más de 449 discos, la Tipica Victor nunca apareció en público, pero tuvo un estilo súper bailable, el cual también exaltó la calidad de sus muy buenos solistas, como en el caso de este tango “Lo Ví En Tus Ojos”, apasioandamente pero elegantmement cantado por Alberto Carol.
During these years the orchestra performed more than 449 recordings, the Típica Victor never appeared in public, but they had a highly danceable style which also displayed the brilliance of its soloists, like in the case of this tango “ “Lo Ví En Tus Ojos”, passionately but elegantly interpreted by Alberto Carol.
